"There are 4 ingredients in a true leader: brains, soul, heart, and good nerves"

It has been an immense pleasure for me to work as the Chairperson of IEEE-TCET academic year 2019-2020. It gave me an experience which I will cherish forever. When I received the post, I was overwhelmed as well as a bit scared as I was been trusted by this big responsibility by the faculties. I was determined to fulfill my duties as a Chairperson. On being appointed, the first challenging task was organizing Zephyr 2019. After more than 30 days of preparation and endless nights of IEEE-TCET and 5 other committees, we were enlighten to see the event being a success. Later we as a team organized many seminars and workshops. We all grew up together, motivated each other and helped building each other. Then we together organized the Educational Excursion. This time it wasn't a challenging task as we all had bonded strong as a family. We then organized workshops in Multicon-W 2020. Amidst the lockdown due to the Corona virus pandemic, we didn't stop in meeting the expectation of the students. E-Technofest was held on the digital platform organized by IEEE-TCET and 6 other committees. The fest being on a digital platform were convenient for all and was appreciated by all. Working with them was amusing. I felt one year flew off very fast. Working with the team was fun. It was pleasant working with them. I will always cherish the time spend with my team. It doesn't feel that I have to leave the committee soon. This one year of my journey has helped me bond well, has developed me into a better leader. I thank everyone who was a part of my journey who constantly supported me, a special thanks to Our Branch Counselor Dr. Lochan Jolly, our faculty coordinators Mr. Deepak S. Shete and Mrs. Aradhana Manekar

I also thank the whole team of students and volunteers who supported me in this beautiful venture.

Working as an IEEE Core Committee member has taught me lot. Since I’m closely associated with all the activities IEEE TCET conducts, I can tell you it’s a lot of hard work that we as a team put in there. It requires a lot of planning and brainstorming to arrange the seminars, workshops and interactions for the students. We look into the needs of the hour, the gap between the academics and industry, and the interests of the students host an event. My journey in IEEE TCET started with nail biting interview. I was extremely happy on being appointed as the Webmastng in the college wearing a blazer. The Actions on Google Workshop brought me quite close to the system and helped me in knowing the actual process of organizing a big event. Zephyr our technical fest was the main highlight of this semester’s events.More than 40 students worked together from our department to put up the fest. There is an ocean of knowledge out there, and IEEE provides a platform to dive into that ocean. I owe my seniors a huge thanks for believing in me. er for the team. Right from then I’ve learnt about what it takes to be there. There is much more to do than just walkiThere were times when things got tangled but they stood by me. We as a team strive to give the best we can. I would also like to extend my thanks to Deepak Sir and Aradhana Ma’am for guiding us. IEEE has given me a platform to learn and there is so much to gain by being a member. Everyone should reap it’s benefits so that they too can grow as a professional.

Being a part of IEEE Core Committee has help me build into a more confident and responsible person. Working with the team for all events made me realize that to make an event successful, it takes a lot of planning, team work & perseverance. All events are planned, keeping in mind the academics and the industry requirements which would benefit the students in the long run.

My journey in IEEE-TCET started with a very interesting interview, being it my first interview . I was delighted to be appointed as the Publication Head. With the post, came responsibilities. But I always felt enlighten to work with such a supporting team who always kept the spirits high and to fulfill my responsibilities toward the committee. Right after being appointed the post, Zephyr 2019, was a big college level technical fest lined up. Observing and learning the processes and formalities that happened to build up such a big event and the endless efforts to make it successful is mind-blowing and worth. We then organized many events for the students. These experiences were just incredible. The hard work of the team paid off. I would like to extend a special thanks to Lochan Ma’am, Deepak Sir and Aradhana Ma’am for keeping us strong and for their endless support and guidance . I would also like to say a special thanks to the senior IEEE core for giving me a chance to prove myself and for teaching and helping me always.

IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. We, the students of TCET are very grateful to have a student branch of this committee in our college.

When I had applied for membership of IEEE, I was a bit sceptical about my journey with IEEE. But as the academic year commenced IEEE core came up with very exciting technical workshops, seminars and events. These not only enhanced my technical skills but also my interpersonal skills.

One of the best workshops organized by IEEE was “Actions on Google” workshop. This workshop was a platform to extend my knowledge regarding the functionalities of Google Assistant more effectively. This workshop was packed with engaging talks and interactive code labs. This also helped us to publish an app during the event. This workshop increased my interest in coding and showed me a path to learn many more computer languages.

In the month of September came the most awaiting fest of the year “Zephyr”. IEEE core had organized many thrilling activities. I had an amazing time participating in many activities and I can’t forget the DJ Time which had added a power pack energy amongst us. The new year 2020 started with the Educational Excursion. This trip will be the most memorable trip in my memory lane. In this educational excursion, we visited Delhi, Jim Corbett and the mesmerising Nainital. The purpose of this IV was educational but at the same time it turned out to be lot of fun. In this IV we not only made new friends but also made the old ones as our family. This journey will always have a special place in my heart.

IEEE core has been very promising in developing its members technical skills in every scenario. Thus, even in the worst times of COVID-19 Lockdown it had organized webinars on Project Guidance and Alumni Interaction.

We had a chance to interact with one of the distinguished alumni, Mr. Devanshu Pandey. He told us about his journey from Red ID Card to Blue ID Card in our college. He also gave insights on how the world works beyond our college. This webinar was very helpful in motivating me to do something apart from studies and looking at the world without being bookworm. This interaction was very beneficial for igniting the flame within me to shape myself as per the industry perspectives.

The speaker of the Project Guidance Webinar was Mr. Prashant Aswani. He guided us on the domains of Cyber Security and Machine Learning. Before attending this webinar, I had no interest in this domain, but after attending this enlightening webinar I developed some interest in this domain.

I am very thankful to my IEEE core for constantly supporting us as a senior and also as a friend as well as giving us many joyful and memorable moments to be cherished always.

IEEE is a known Organization in the world, so is our committee in our college.

IEEE is not just a body organising things and executing them its way more than that speaking in terms of life teaching aspects like morals, ethics & Responsibilities and being the path of making new friends.

There's an Technical Fest of our college called "ZEPHYR" and in that fest too our Committee had proved their Standard at arranging Sport like "LASER TAG" which is one of the most revenue making sport. And managing to have Sponsors and Attracting The crowd by making a strong team Of PRO.

IEEE had organized a workshop which was Actions on Google workshop. Which gave us a hand on experience with building an AI with the help of google. This workshop helped to arousing the interest in Coding and various Programming Languages IEEE had also Organized an interactive Session with NASA Associate Director Dr. Rita Pujari. Her Journey had been quite an Inspiration. And just like her many Indians working in such organizations makes us feel proud.

And the most Greatest, Beautiful and Unforgettable Event of my life was the INDUSTRIAL VISIT. The Places were just Outstanding we visited DELHI, JIM CORBETT, NAINITAL. And that Experience was full of joy, comfort and memories. Our Committee members made us comfortable from the journey itself. And they constantly taking the feedback from our side whether its anything. Our committee members had taught us many lesson without actually teaching them. It was a great thing seeing them so responsible at each of their Position.

I just want to say whole IEEE Committee is been an inspiration. As and we are glad to have our seniors. They aroused the feeling to be the part of them and to follow their footprints and never let the standard of IEEE come down in future. Because it represents our Department.

Having such an amazing theme (Area 51) was an icing on the cake.Working after college hours having an evening snack from making us to work hard till taking care of our small needs were done all done with perfection which led to a growth of huge respect within myself for IEEE committee. Venturing out of the college for the preparation materials regular guidance by the senior's in the team was a really amazingly new experience for a junior like me. We used to work for hours and hours each and every member of our team pulled off every bits and peices to make the event a successful one.Tho at the end of the day we were tired physically but our mind, the energy and the motivation from the loving seniors made us work for an extra hours everyday such was the environment around the lovely people of IEEE committee. We all gave our best to bring out the perfection and keep the name and the pride of the IEEE committee at the top. IEEE committee in the form of Zephyr helped me to develope various skills; time management, multi tasking being the greatest. Not only the working hours of three weeks but the dj party at the end of the day of the main event was also amazing. It developed the sence of unity and built the strong relationship the fellow classmates and also the senior's within the committee.IEEE committee as a whole helped me in building my personality and creating a positive attitude of mine towards number of things of daily life.It taught me the biggest quality of not giving up in any situation and also helped me in kicking out my fear of public speaking. It helped me to build a great impact of mine in the mind of people with the help of my skills and created a good influence of me. My decision of working in Zephyr under IEEE committee proved to be one of the best decision I ever made during my academic life.No wonders, I'll definately recommending my current and future juniors to join IEEE committee. IEEE committee is not only a professional body but also a committee which I am pretty much sure everyone would have lots of memories for. It has played a vital role in each and every once's academic life .
